Juicing with Art in celebration of Black History Month presents Changing The Carbon Footprint: The Spirit of Ubuntu. Ubuntu, a Zulu term that translates“I am what I am because of who you are,” examines being humane and seeing the humanity in others. Through these lense, the event Changing The Carbon Footprint: The Spirit of Ubuntu will feature a short film and art exhibition by multimedia artist Isaie Zeek Mathias, special musical performance and live art. Entertainment will be provided by percussionist Harvel Nakundi and Jazz performance by singer Tazz. The event will be hosted by DeAnne Connolly-Graham and will feature live art paintings by Ralph Aguilera and Willandra McGahee. Changing The Carbon Footprint: The Spirit of Ubuntu will be held on February 20 from 4-7pm.
